Trent Howard is a southpaw from Hammond, IN. After graduating from Clark High School, Trent continued his career at Central Michigan University, where he was a three-time all-Mid-American Conference selection while striking out 213 batters in 212 career innings pitched. His fastball was clocked in the lower 90s and he was the Baltimore Orioles’ seventh-round pick in the 2011 Major League Baseball draft — the highest Chippewas draft pick in nearly 10 years. Trent played as high as Double-A in the three seasons he was with the Baltimore Orioles organization. He retired from playing professional baseball in 2014.

Trent is the pitching coordinator for the 2016 Morris Elite Baseball teams.

Bobby Morris is a native of Munster Indiana where he holds the Munster High School batting average, slugging percentage and home run records and was an All-State Shortstop. He attended the University of Iowa where he was a three year starter and two-time Academic All-Big Ten. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 9th round of the 1993 amateur draft. Highlights of his 9-year professional career include being a two-time All-Star and breaking Mark Grace’s batting average record in class A Peoria in 1994. He was also a member of the Chicago Cubs 40-Man Major League Roster in 1996. Prior to founding Morris Elite Baseball and the Morris Baseball and Softball Center, Bobby served as the Director of the Northwest Indiana White Sox Training Academy. Morris has his Bachelors in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Iowa. He is also an associate scout for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Parents must show their ID and sign a waiver for their child at Omni’s Front Desk before they can participate in the course.
